“Grit and Grace” — A Spec Film for Blanton’s Bourbon Sharing a recent project: a conceptual ad and short film created for Blanton’s Bourbon. The creative direction reinterprets the brand through a refined female perspective, emphasizing the interplay of grace and grit. AI-assisted visual development and concept refinement were integrated throughout the process to elevate the aesthetic and narrative cohesion of the final piece. Honored to share that this piece has been recommended for submission to the American Advertising Awards and the Augusta Student American Advertising Awards. When I set out to direct Alone, I had a vision of how I wanted it told, and who I wanted to create it with—but nothing could have prepared me for this past weekend. To my first-class cast and crew, I dedicate the spirit of Nick. Not only for the money, blood, sweat, time, and tears poured into this project, but for the contagious energy that breathed life into his story—the energy essential to telling it truthfully. This isn’t the end. We have much more work to do. I invite you all to follow along as we craft Nick’s story into a timeless film, one that sheds light on what people all over the world experience every day: being alone. I am endlessly thankful for the support so far—it hasn’t gone unnoticed. I love you all.
